Vintage Chinese Cloisone Compartmentalized Box

Description

This is a vintage 1900s Chinese Cloisonné box with four compartments. The box is approximately 5.5" long and 1.5" tall. The top and all four sides have nicely done in intricate and aesthetically pleasing floral cloisonné work and the interior is fully enameled. Please take note, this is an old piece and it shows appropriate aging. There is no damage and no repair to any of the cloisonné work, but nothing this old is perfect. One for the four legs is crimped (please see picture # 4), most likely during the making and there is a tiny chip in the enamel on the interior (please see picture # 10).. The box stands perfectly erect with no wobble. There are no cracks or dings or broken cloisonés. A
