Suncast hose reel o ring Replacement oring leak Wall Mount Only

IS your WALL MOUNT Suncast reel leaking from the base? It may be an easy fix relating to the O rings being worn out.
Two O-rings need to be changed.
I will include 3 sets of O-rings so you can repair your reel 3x if it's leaking from the O-ring seals.
These will fix the WALL MOUNT models: STA100, SWA100, STA100J, STA125B and MJT60DT.
These should also fit HRP60B but I haven't tested as I do not have that model.
If your original O-rings are pink, these will NOT fit.
Instructions below for how to replace O-rings.
1) turn off water to reel
2) Remove the front plastic Cap by pushing the Cap down.
3) Gently Pull the reel outwards, it should come off relatively easily with a little power, try jiggling as you pull.
4) Remove existing O-rings and note where they are located for when you install new O-rings. You can use a flat head screwdriver to help pry it up and slide it off.
5)Note the different sized O-rings and
their location
. Clean the area around where the o-ring goes.
6) You can apply O-ring Lube or plumbers grease if you would like, but it's not necessary. I did when I replaced mine.
7) T
he larger O-ring should go on first and closest to the wall.
8) Smaller O ring goes second and on the front.
10) Put back on the reel by applying pressure and pushing it on.
I included a picture of what mine looked like before the change, O-ring colors may be slightly different for yours.
Only 2 O-rings are to be changed.
