Metrologic's IS4225 ScanGlove
is a fully automatic single-line laser scanning device. Incorporating patented activation technology, the IS4225 can be used as both as "hands-free" wearable scanner or a stationary desktop scanner. Used as a wearable scanner, the IS4225 mounts easily and comfortably to the back of an operator's hand. By mounting the scanner to the back of the hand and connecting to a portable data collector, the operator is not restricted and can freely move about. The scanner reads barcodes automatically as the operator presents the scanner to the code. Whether used for order picking, shipping/receiving, or inventory control, this simple scanning movement will undoubtedly provide increased flexibility for the operator and ultimately render increased productivity.
The distinct design of the IS4225 allows for the same scanning function and automatic activation, but in a completely different environment. When the IS4225 is connected directly to a personal computer, document scanning and order entry are made simple and fast. By presenting the barcode to the scanner, data can be automatically entered into a computer.
The IS4225 scanner has built in decoding for applications that use a T2&T5 , Keyboard Wedge, Stand Alone Keyboard, Light Pen Emulation or USB communication interface.
