    Your SDS100 or BCD436HP has a knob on the back that can be used with a belt clip.  That knob inserts into the clip that is part of this mounting kit.  These mounts fit both battery types on the SDS100 (the extended and original slim battery).  It's one of the few mounts available for the SDS100 that work with the extended battery.
    To attach the mount, This mount package includes an air vent mount with swivel ball head. The sturdy spring-loaded mount clip secures onto any horizontal or vertical car air vent louvers, and also includes a support leg that rests on the bottom of the vent for added reinforcement. The scanner attaches to the included belt clip adapter. The swivel ball head of the air vent mount provides 360° rotation.
