    Description

This is an Antique late 19th Century Ching / Qing Period Polychrome Porcelain Round Box from China.  This round box was produced primarily for export to the large overseas Chinese communities in Penang, Malacca & Singapore.  The bowl was purchased by my father in Penang, Malaysia where he owned a Southeast Asian antique shop in the late 1970's to early 1980's.  Overall the box is in Fine Condition however there is evidence of usage as evidenced by the worn off red rim on the top of the box.
Round Box Dimensions: 2 1/4 inches high.  3 1/2 inches in diameter.  Bowl Weight: 6.1 Ounces (172.9 grams)
