Antique signed CHINA Hand Carved JADE & Brass Leaf Filegree Box measures  6" wide x 4" deep x 2 1/4" tall bo itself weighs 1 pound 5 ounces.  Top has fabulous carvings &  the top jade panel sits on a glass panel for support. All 4 sides & bottom are jade panels, none carved.
The box is enhanced with a fancy brass filegree work. The quality in this box is outstanding !!!!
We believe from the jade carvings & brass filegree dates the box from the Victorian Era, circa 1880.  As shown in photo, the jade is translucent whennheld in the light. Comes from a local high end collector's estate, Fresh Picked Item, uncleaned with original patina.
