    Wooden Thimbles
    Here we have a grouping of 9 thimbles made from a variety of woods.   Another  is marked Desert of Maine in Freeport Maine. The latter has the look of cedar or pine. The type of wood is not identified on the smallest dark wood thimble but the remaining wooden thimbles  are identified as follows:
    Lilac, Walnut, Wild Pear, Driftwood, Purpleheart and Kowhai wood from New Zealand.
    This  is one of a large group of thimbles  from an estate that we have on Ebay now.They have a number with a removable mark inside that we will use to keep track of the thimble.
